We provide crisis accommodation and information for people in the eastern region of Melbourne who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness and family violence. We also assist residents in the Maroondah and Maribyrnong communities with emergency relief, such as food parcels and financial aid.
We have a range of services, available by referral, for young people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness to improve their situation. These include short term accommodation, assistance to find stable housing and a range of programs that provide the necessary support young people need to address their individual circumstances.
We can assist with advice and support on public housing issues for people in outer eastern Melbourne who are at risk of a tenancy breakdown, and support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to secure a private rental home as a long term housing option.
Every year an unacceptable number of women and children have their lives and housing circumstances disrupted because of family violence. We offer two programs, by referral only, that focus on early intervention and support.
We offer two programs that are dedicated to making a difference to children and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness – the Statewide Children’s Resource Program and Accommodation Options for Families.
We provide community support at our centres in Ringwood and Footscray for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including shower and laundry facilities. These services are available weekdays on a drop-in basis.
Need help with purchasing an essential household item or service? We’re an accredited provider of the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) in the Maribyrnong area. Residents on low incomes can borrow between $300 and $1200, and won’t pay any interest.
